LI GETS 12 MORE WEEKS

Yonghong Li has managed to convince Silvio Berlusconi to grant him an extra twelve weeks to come up with the bucks to finalize the transfer of the ownership of AC Milan.

Berlusconi’s stance was pretty strict when he had spoken about the issue the previous month as he had dropped signs that if the bucks didn’t reach him within the time that had been given to the other party, he might terminate the deal and keep his club to himself.

SEEDORF WANTS WIN

AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has urged the players to perform exceptionally well and get a win against Chievo during the weekend. The future of Seedorf has already been thrown into doubt just a few months after he took over at the club.

He has been unable to get results and the team have been slipping to the second half of the table under his management. After failing to win for several matches in a row, Milan only recently managed a victory against Fiorentina. This morale boosting win has helped Seedorf get some time.

Pirlo looking not looking to leave

Andrea Pirlo has made it clear he is hoping to sign a new contract with Juventus despite being linked with a number of European giants in recent weeks. The Italian midfielder is nearing the end of his current deal with Juve, leading some to speculate the 34-year old could be on his way in the summer, with former club AC Milan rumoured to be battling it out with Real Madrid should Pirlo decide to leave Juventus.

The 2006 World Cup winner has been a key part of Juventus’ success this season, proving he is still one of Serie A’s best midfielders by playing an important role in the club sitting nine points clear at the top of the table and heavy favourites with Betfair to win the title for a third straight year.

ODUAMADI IS THE FUTURE

Nigerian striker Nnamdi Oduamadi is regarded at AC Milan as a player who could develop into a real good player in the future. He was brought to the San Siro in 2009, but he has largely been on loan spells at various clubs like Torino and Genoa.

He recently sealed yet another loan move, and this time it was to Italian Serie B team Brescia. He has made this move in the hope of playing regularly. This being a World Cup year, players want to impress in order to get into the national team squad. Nigeria are expected by the football betting markets to be at the World Cup 2014 unless there was a major surprise.
